Jordyn Tyson (WR) Arizona State
Arizona State star WR Jordyn Tyson is coming off a breakout 1,098-yard, 10 TD season and enters 2025 as a top NFL Draft prospect. See why he could be college football’s next superstar.
Jordyn Tyson is a junior wide receiver for Arizona State who has quickly emerged as one of the most productive pass-catchers in the country. Hailing from Allen, Texas, the 6-2, 200-pound playmaker was the Sun Devils’ leading receiver in 2024 and finished inside the top eight nationally in receiving yards.
His size, fluid athleticism, and ability to win at all levels of the field have made him a go-to target in the Arizona State offense. Tyson’s combination of reliable hands and big-play ability allows him to impact games in multiple ways. As he enters his third season, he has firmly established himself as one of the most dangerous wide receivers in college football.
2024 Season
In 2024, Tyson was a model of consistency and explosiveness. He posted 75 catches on 113 targets for 1,098 yards and 10 touchdowns. His ability to separate from coverage and finish plays downfield made him a nightmare for opposing defenses.
Tyson has the complete skill set to be a difference-maker at the position. He has sharp route-running, strong hands, and the vision to create after the catch. His production and efficiency have put him squarely in the conversation for the 2025 Biletnikoff Award. Whether it’s converting a critical third down or stretching the field for a deep shot, Tyson has proven he can be the focal point of an offense.
2026 NFL Draft Prospects
Looking ahead to 2025, Tyson enters the season as the clear WR1 on many early NFL Draft boards. With Cam Skattebo gone, the Sun Devils’ offense will lean heavily on quarterback Sam Leavitt and the passing attack. That makes Tyson the centerpiece of the offensive attack.
Firstly, the opportunity is there for him to put up another massive statistical season. A strong year would cement his status as a first-round pick in next year’s draft. Secondly, his size-speed combination and refined skill set will make him a coveted prospect at the next level. Finally, if he continues to dominate as he did in 2024, Tyson could be one of the first wide receivers off the board in the 2026 NFL Draft.
