Adonai Mitchell is locked into the No. 2 receiver role for the Jets after earning a 27.4-percent Air Yards Share on 1000-plus total Air Yards and tracking 19 deep targets following his midseason trade from Indianapolis. Rich Cimini from ESPN followed up Rosenblatt’s praise by confirming that Michell has “solidified himself as the No. 2 receiver” in New York.  The 23-year-old dealt with a poor 54.1-percent Catchable Target Rate last year, making the quarterback upgrade to Geno Smith a massive driver for his efficiency metrics.

Omar Cooper Jr. is a rookie who plays a similar role to Garrett Wilson, which makes Mitchell a more tactical compliment to Garrett Wilson.
