The Los Angeles Chargers bounce back in Week 8 to dominate the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football
Justin Herbert threw for 227 yards and three touchdowns on Thursday to defeat the Vikings 37-10. “It was a big win for us, a big opportunity for us to go correct some more mistakes,” said Herbert. This was the first game this season in which the Chargers scored more than 30 points.
Rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden II had another impressive performance, finishing the day with five receptions for 77 yards and a score. His touchdown came on an eight-yard pass, and he also delivered a spectacular 40-yard reception in the game. He has now recorded more than 65 yards in each of his last three games and seems to have found a role in this Chargers offense. The hype has continued to grow and, as of now, should be considered a startable tight end moving forward.
