Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers to get MRI to determine if he tore his right ACL.
Giants star wide receiver Malik Nabers is feared to have suffered a season ending injury in the teams’ 21-18 win over the undefeated Los Angeles Chargers. The timing of the injury is even more painful considering how Jaxson Dart was making his rookie debut.
While things were looking up for the team early, Nabers suffered a non-contact injury on a deep ball from Dart. From a personal and team perspective this is a major blow to the Giants as an organization. Fantasy managers are equally sad in their own right as it relates to losing a star player.
Malik Nabers was primed to challenge for the WR1 overall spot in 2025. Just 4 games into the season, the answer to that question will have to arrive at another time. Nabers should be rostered in redraft until final confirmation and in dynasty leagues he will certainly have increased trade liquidity as teams deliberate winning now versus rebuilding of the future. Deals that were once off the table can now be made.
