Jordan Addison
Jordan Addison Returning Week 4

Minnesota Vikings’ WR Jordan Addison will make his return in week 4 after serving a 3-game suspension for violating the league’s Substance Abuse Policy.

Jordan Addison will look to build on his sophomore NFL season, in which he caught 63 receptions for 875 yards and 9 touchdowns. Addison has been fairly boom or bust in his first two years, though his 14.1 fantasy points-per-game in 2024 were good for 25th among wide receivers.

The problem I see with Addison’s projection for the rest of 2025 is the Vikings quarterback situation. With J.J. McCarthy getting injured after playing poorly apart from the second half against the Bears, even Justin Jefferson has put up pedestrian numbers. The consensus best receiver in the game currently sits outside the top 24 in this offense.

I’m not sure Minnesota will be able to support multiple fantasy WRs consistently. Those of us who drafted Addison, hoping to get a solid WR2 with upside at a discount, should be tempering our expectations in the current moment. Consider him a flex play in week 4 against a Steelers defense that has shown its fair share of holes so far this season.
