Baltimore finds success throwing the ball against the Browns behind Lamar’s 4 Touchdowns
In a game where neither offenses were looking very good the Ravens find successes this week behind the arm and not the legs of Lamar Jackson as he throws for over 200 yards and 4 passing TDs. The Ravens found themselves in unfamiliar territory at halftime this week against the Browns: just 14 total rushing yards. Looking for answers, they turned to the passing game. Lamar Jackson delivered with 3 passing touchdowns, two of which went to rookie receiver Devontez Walker.
Lamar is eyeing another top 5 finish this week as we wait for Mondays games to finish. He appears to be the favorite for QB1 on the year, and if he can consistently put up top 5 weekly performances without relying on his running game, it will be hard to argue that he won’t.
Devontez becomes a player to keep an eye on in deeper formats. This could be just a boom week as he only had two catches but there isn’t much target demand outside of Zay for this team and could carve out a roll if he can continue to build on this week.
