The 49ers are seemingly plagued with injuries every offseason. This year is no exception. The team is currently without Brandon Aiyuk (knee), Jauan Jennings (calf), Jordan Watkins (ankle), DeMarcus Robinson (suspension), and newly acquired Russel Gage (knee) from their receiving corps alone. Skyy Moore, whom the team acquired on Wednesday, will hopefully be able to provide the team with reps until they get some of these guys back.
I wouldn’t expect Moore to make much of a fantasy impact even if he ends up making the team. In his three seasons in the league, he has yet to top 250 receiving yards. He only played in 6 games last year and did not record a reception on just three targets. Crazier things have happened, however, than Moore being serviceable in 2025. The 49ers do tend to get the most out of their skill position players due to Kyle Shanahan’s versatile offensive system. For now, all this does is make George Kittle and Ricky Pearsall look like even bigger values in redraft leagues.
