Ayomanor Named Starter

Elic Ayomanor becomes a player to watch after Titans announce him a starter for week one.

The Titans have announced their depth chart to start the season and have Elic Ayomanor named as a starter along side Calvin Ridley. After finishing last season with a record of 3-14 the Titans set their sights on improving the offense this off-season. They addressed those needs in the draft as they used 6 of their 9 picks selecting players on the offensive side of the ball.

The Titans are looking to find a second option in the passing game to go along side Calvin Ridley and provide rookie QB Cam Ward weapons for this upcoming season. It appears they have found that in another rookie Elic Ayomanor who they traded up in the draft to get. Ayomamor has come out on top of the WR2 battle this preseason and is primed to receive plenty of opportunities to become relevant in fantasy.

Ayomanor has a tough match up to start his NFL career facing Denver’s top defense but is someone to keep an eye on as the season progresses. He is an excellent wavier/buy low candidate if he cements himself as the the second option in Tennessee.

The Tennessee Titans Draft Wide Receiver Elic Ayomanor in the 4th Round
7 months ago

The Titans draft wide receiver Elic Ayomanor to boost their support for quarterback Cam Ward.

Cam Ward’s year-1 outlook just improved. The Tennessee Titans are bolstering their offense with the 4th-round selection of Stanford wide receiver Elic Ayomanor.

Elic Ayomanor is best known for his epic 3 touchdown and 294 receiving yards from 13 catches against Heisman winner Travis Hunter. Ayomanor is adept at making acrobatic catches and can utilize his big body to be a perfect target downfield. While he does struggle with easy plays and concentration drops, this is a solid find in round 4 by the Titans.

Calvin Ridley is the WR1 in Tennessee, but the argument can be made that he will have an easier go of things with Ayomanor lining up opposite him. Cam Ward’s stock will rise with this pick as well. This is a good sign in year 1 that the Titans are serious about making the best for their new franchise quarterback.

Elic Ayomanor Impresses at the NFL Combine
9 months ago

The Stanford wideout who is most known for his epic game against Travis Hunter logged a formidable combine performance.

Stanford’s Elic Ayomanor is a wideout whose stock is rising. In what isn’t considered a deep wide receiver class, Ayomanor is certainly giving pause to that narrative.

Ayomanor clocked in a 4.44 40-yard dash. His 38.5’’ vertical and 10’7’’ broad jump are good indicators that he will be a capable wideout at the next level. Ayomanor is most known for his big time performance against Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter. In that game, Ayomanor has 13 receptions for 294 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns.

Elic Ayomanor has certainly proved he should be selected on day 2 of the NFL Draft. The rookie wideout would be a perfect complement to many No.1 wide receivers across the league.

Stanford Wideout Elic Ayomanor Expected to Generate Plenty of Buzz at the Senior Bowl
10 months ago

Elic Ayomanor is set to be a widely known name in fantasy football circles as his talents will be on full display for media members and NFL scouts at the Senior Bowl.

The Senior Bowl is right around the corner. In a wide receiver class that isn’t gaining much hype compared to the 2024 rookie class, there are still a few gems. Elic Ayomanor is one name to monitor during next week’s Senior Bowl.

The Stanford wideout is projected as a day 2 selection in the 2nd round with a Pro Football Focus rank of 34 on their Big Board..  In 2023, Ayomanor had an epic performance against this year’s Heisman trophy winner Travis Hunter. In a tough matchup against the Colorado cornerback, Ayomanor went nuclear with 13 receptions, 294 receiving yards and had 3 touchdowns.

With a 6 ‘2’’ and 210 pound frame, Ayomanor can go up and grab the ball in tight spaces and has no problem dusting defenders. Some teams that come to mind for interest include the Washington Commanders, New England Patriots, Carolina Panthers, and Las Vegas Raiders. Expect any team in need of a quality second wideout to have Elic Ayomanor on their draft board.
