Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is finally healthy.
Dak Prescott is entering the 2025 season healthy and poised for a strong fantasy campaign after fully recovering from last year’s midseason hamstring injury. The Cowboys signal-caller is ready to prove he can continue his success he had before the injury ended his 2024 season.
Prescott finished as the QB3 in 2023 season. Now, he is fully recovered and still surrounded by elite weapons, including CeeDee Lamb and Jake Ferguson, but this offseason they added George Pickens. With not an elite running back, we can expect a high-volume passing offense.
Prescott is a strong value in the Round 7–9 range in redraft leagues and a solid target for managers who wait on quarterback. His combination of experience, weapons, and offensive scheme make him a high-floor, high-ceiling option in 2025, and will finish as a QB1.

George Pickens pulls a Scott’s Tots and skips out on leading a youth football camp.
One of the most intriguing stories of the offseason was the Pittsburgh Steelers trade of wide receiver George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys. Gaining a reputation as a diva, the Steelers felt it was time to cut ties. Normally when Mike Tomlin has had enough it signals a time for change.
Prior to his trade, George Pickens was set to hold a youth football camp in Pittsburgh on Saturday, June 28th. Pickens had informed the organization running the camp TruEdge Sports that he would still attend despite his trade. Pickens recently backed out just last week.
With plenty of children and their families excited for the event, this has come to a huge disappointment for many. Fortunately, Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth has agreed to take up for Pickens’ slack and will help run the event. It looks like the only camp George Pickens will be attending this year is Cowboys training camp with Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb.

With the addition of wide receiver George Pickens, drafters are pushing Dak Prescott’s ADP up on Underdog.
Dak Prescott has a new weapon at his disposal in wide receiver George Pickens. Pickens will make a formidable duo with star receiver CeeDee Lamb.
A benefactor of this move is Dak Prescott. Dak has risen 11.9 spots in ADP on Underdog from the beginning of round 12 to the early part of round 11. Prescott’s season was interrupted by injury in 2024 allowing him to only play in 8 games. Prescott is 1 season removed from throwing for 4,516 passing yards and posting 20.7 fantasy points per game which ranked No.4 for quarterbacks.
While Dak’s ADP has risen a full round, it is wise to continue selecting him as he presents tremendous value due to recency bias due to missed playing time. Heading into his aged 32 season, Dak is expected to make a big bounce back in 2025 making him a terrific selection in all formats.

With a trade to the Dallas Cowboys, George Pickens is also finding a new home in drafts with a skyrocketing ADP.
Markets ebb and flow with new information. In Underdog bestball, George Pickens is experiencing a flow in his ADP rising in the last week. Pickens is up 16.3 spots and has risen from the middle of the 7th round to the early part of round 6.
After the sign and trade the Steelers made for DK Metcalf, the writing was on the wall and across social media that George Pickens days may be numbered in Pittsburgh. After a swell of rumors leading up to the draft it appeared the Pickens trade market had cooled.
With Pickens going to Dallas he is set up as a perfect complement to CeeDee Lamb in an offense that throws plenty more than the Steelers. Last season, the Cowboys were 4th in team pass plays per game at 39.7. Given that Pickens has risen, it is logical to ask whether or not he should go any higher. Continue to click George Pickens with confidence as his talent and situation are aligning for a sky high breakout.

For the cost of a 3rd round pick the Dallas Cowboys are set to have a massive boost to their receiving room with the addition of George Pickens.
This is huge news for a team that has been desperate for multiple years now to add a secondary weapon for Dak Prescott alongside Ceedee Lamb.
The rumors from Pittsburgh that they weren’t interested in signing Pickens to a long term contract have proven to be true. These rumours were only strengthened this offseason when they traded for DK Metcalf who occupies basically the same role as Pickens.
The questions remains if there will be an extension announced for Pickens. This move is a massive boost in fantasy for Dak Prescott and Ceedee Lamb for the upcoming season.

Steelers GM Omar Khan looks forward to seeing DK Metcalf and George Pickens play together.
Two quotes stand out from Pittsburgh Steelers GM Omar Khan: 1) We’re “glad we have George and DK here.” 2) “I think they’re going to be exciting for everyone to watch.”
Pickens has always been must-watch football. However, ever since the DK Metcalf trade, rumors have swirled that Pickens would not receive a 2nd contract from the Steelers. Positive vibes from GM Khan indicate that there doesn’t seem to be motivation from the team to move on from Pickens.
Pickens caught 59 passes on 103 targets for 900 yards and 3 TDs in 2024, finishing as the WR35 in ppg. Pickens is going at ADP 39 overall on FastDraft.
