Tory Horton Bio

Tory Horton is a dynamic wide receiver prospect for the 2025 NFL Draft, known for his exceptional ball-tracking ability and vertical receiving skills. Standing 6'3" and weighing 196 pounds, Horton transferred to Colorado State from Nevada, where he quickly became a standout player. In his first season with the Rams in 2022, he recorded 71 receptions for 1,131 yards and eight touchdowns, earning First-Team All-Mountain West honors. He continued his impressive performance in 2023, leading the conference with 96 receptions for 1,136 yards and eight touchdowns, and was named to multiple preseason award watch lists, including the Biletnikoff and Maxwell Awards. Horton's collegiate career totals include 265 receptions for 3,615 yards and 27 touchdowns across 50 games. His ability to create separation with his speed and precise route-running makes him a versatile threat in the passing game. Additionally, he showcased his skills as a punt returner, contributing to his team's special teams unit.

Despite his successful college career, Horton's 2024 season was cut short due to a season-ending knee injury, limiting him to just five games. Prior to the injury, he had accumulated 26 receptions for 353 yards and one touchdown. While the injury may impact his draft stock, Horton's proven track record and potential for recovery position him as a promising prospect. Teams seeking a tall, fast, and polished receiver with the ability to stretch the field and contribute immediately could find Horton to be a valuable addition to their roster.
