Rylie Mills Bio

Rylie Mills is a 6'5", 295-pound defensive tackle from Lake Bluff, Illinois, who declared for the 2025 NFL Draft following a standout collegiate career at the University of Notre Dame. Over five seasons with the Fighting Irish, Mills appeared in 62 games, recording 131 tackles, 17 sacks, and two fumble recoveries. In his final season (2024), he earned second-team All-America honors from both ESPN and Sporting News, leading the team with 7.5 sacks and adding 37 total tackles and 8.5 tackles for loss. His performance was instrumental in Notre Dame's defensive success, particularly in the latter half of the season.

A graduate of Lake Forest High School, Mills was a highly recruited prospect who chose Notre Dame for its academic and athletic opportunities. He served as a team captain in his senior year and was recognized for his leadership both on and off the field. Mills' combination of size, strength, and technical skill makes him a promising prospect for NFL teams seeking to bolster their defensive line. Despite a knee injury that sidelined him during the College Football Playoff, his overall body of work has positioned him as a valuable asset for the next level.
