Omarr Norman-Lott Bio

Omarr Norman-Lott is a 6'3", 315-pound defensive tackle from North Highlands, California, who played college football for the Tennessee Volunteers. Originally a three-star recruit at Arizona State, he transferred to Tennessee in 2023, where he became a key contributor to the Vols' defensive line. Over two seasons at Tennessee, Norman-Lott recorded 42 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, and 9.5 sacks. In 2024, he earned an invitation to the Reese’s Senior Bowl, showcasing his skills to NFL scouts. Known for his explosive first step and powerful hands, he demonstrated an impressive 18.9% pass rush win rate, the highest among all defensive tackles. Despite limited snaps, his performance highlighted his potential as a disruptive force on the defensive line.

Following his standout college career, Norman-Lott was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs with the 63rd overall pick in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Scouts have praised his quickness off the line and ability to penetrate the backfield. While his run defense remains a concern due to inconsistent performance and limited game snaps over his five-year collegiate career, his potential as a pass rusher makes him a valuable asset for the Chiefs' defensive line. He joins a strong defensive unit, contributing to the team's championship aspirations.
