Nate Adkins is a 6'3"", 252 pound Grad Student tight end from Knoxville, Tennessee. Before attending South Carolina, Adkins graduated from Eastern Tennessee State with a degree in sport & entertainment managment. He comes from a sports family. His father Greg, is on the Gamecocks' staff, his brother is also a Division I athlete.
Adkins did not have a ton of college production. At ETSU he finished with 73 total receptions, 749 recieving yards, and four touchdowns. In his final season as a collegiate athlete, the tight end put together 13 catches for 168 yards and was held scoreless. Adkins will always have that miraculous catch against rival Clemson.
