The Las Vegas Raiders just added a redundant running back at No. 122 by drafting Mike Washington Jr., a 225-pound hammer who pairs a verified 121.2 Speed Score (98th-percentile) with the 4.38-second 40-yard dash necessary to erase pursuit angles in the open field. Washington is posted a 19.2 Breakout Age and a dominant 80-percent backfield dominator rating during his final campaign at Arkansas, proving he possesses the high-volume gravity and 97th-percentile burst to operate as a true three-down engine if given the keys to a backfield.
In dynasty formats, this is a rough landing spot for Mike Washington Jr. as an insurance policy behind last year’s top drafted back, Ashton Jeanty. What could have been an interesting dynasty player moved to a high-upside handcuff if Jeanty happens to go down with an injury.

Mike Washington Jr. put on a show at the NFL combine, recording the fastest 40-yard dash time of any running back with a time of 4.33 seconds, helping him significantly boost his draft stock, along with scoring a perfect 10 relative athletic score (RAS). The big-bodied burner broke out at Arkansas this season, where he rushed for over 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns.
Washington has been gaining momentum in the fantasy community after his performances at the Senior Bowl and now the combine. If the 6’1, 223lb power back gets a desirable landing spot in the NFL Draft, we will continue to see his draft stock climb. Currently on Underdog, Washington’s ADP ranges from 207 to 218.

Arkansas Razorbacks running back Mike Washington Jr. has been putting together a strong week that’s catching the attention of NFL evaluators. He’s shown quick decision-making in inside run periods, consistently pressing the hole with patience before exploding through creases. Washington’s lateral agility and contact balance have allowed him to generate extra yards, even when lanes close up.
What’s really helped his stock is his work in passing situations. Washington has looked natural catching the football out of the backfield and has held his own in pass-protection reps, showing awareness and toughness against blitzing linebackers. With his performance in Mobile, Washington is making a strong case as a versatile, scheme-friendly back who can contribute early in an NFL rotation.
