The Saints undrafted rookie wide receiver is catching the attention of Saints beat reporters in training camp.
Saints undrafted wide receiver Mason Tipton is standing out at training camp. Head coach Dennis Allen compared Tipton to UDFA standout Chris Harris by saying, “Everyday he did something to catch your eye.” Tipton is 5’9’’ and 179 pounds from Yale. Tipton has a 99th percentile 40-yard dash of 4.33 seconds.
The Saints first two wide receiver spots are firmly held by Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed, with A.T. Perry seemingly the favorite for the 3rd wide receiver spot. Tipton is currently competing with Cedrick Wilson, Bub Means, noted financial advisor Stanley Morgan, and Equanimeous St. Brown. Tipton is aiming to be the Saints slot wide receiver in 2024.
For now, take note of Tipton’s early success and monitor throughout the pre-season. Expect Mason Tipton to be a trendy add on Sleeper where you can use your last roster spot on deep Dynasty stashes.
