Kendal Daniels is an American college football linebacker and NFL Draft prospect who has competed at both Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma. A native of Beggs, Oklahoma, Daniels was one of the top recruits in the state coming out of Beggs High School and arrived at Oklahoma State as a highly regarded defensive back before transitioning into a hybrid linebacker role. He redshirted early in his career and broke out during the 2022 season, earning Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year honors along with Freshman All-America recognition after recording 71 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions, and multiple pass breakups. Daniels continued to be a productive and versatile defender in subsequent seasons before entering the transfer portal.
Listed at 6-5 and 242 pounds, Daniels offers a rare combination of size, length, and athleticism for the linebacker position. After transferring to Oklahoma, he became part of the Sooners’ defensive rotation, bringing flexibility to play in space, near the line of scrimmage, and in coverage situations thanks to his background as a safety. Known for his physicality, ball skills, and versatility, Daniels has drawn attention from NFL scouts as a hybrid defensive prospect with the tools to match up against modern offensive schemes and contribute in multiple roles at the next level.
