Jaylon Guilbeau Bio

Jaylon Guilbeau is an American college football cornerback and 2026 NFL Draft prospect who played his collegiate career with the University of Texas Longhorns. A native of Port Arthur, Texas, he was a highly regarded four-star recruit out of Memorial High School and elected to stay with Texas after briefly considering other programs. Guilbeau appeared in 43 games with 27 starts over four seasons, contributing in multiple roles in the Longhorns’ secondary, including time as a slot corner before moving outside. During his junior season in 2024, he recorded 58 tackles and three pass breakups, and in 2025 he added 40 tackles and his first career interception while starting the first 10 games of the season before opting out of Texas’ Citrus Bowl to prepare for the NFL Draft.

Measured at 6-0 and 183 pounds, Guilbeau blends size, instincts and experience against Power Five competition that NFL teams value at the next level. His versatility to play both inside and outside, along with special teams experience, has kept him on draft boards as a potential late-round pick or priority free agent, though projections vary as evaluators assess his coverage skills and physical traits. Guilbeau’s production, positional flexibility and experience in a major college program position him as a developmental defensive back with the potential to compete for roster opportunities in the NFL.
