Jason Marshall Jr. Bio

Jason Marshall Jr. is a 6'0", 194-pound cornerback from the University of Florida, known for his physicality, fluid movement, and high football IQ. A five-star recruit out of Miami Palmetto High School, Marshall was ranked the No. 2 cornerback nationally by 247Sports and was a standout in the Under Armour All-American Bowl. During his collegiate career, he started in 31 games over four seasons, recording 15 pass breakups, 3 interceptions, and 1 sack. In 2024, he led the Gators with 10 pass breakups before suffering a season-ending labrum injury mid-season. Despite the setback, Marshall earned an invitation to the 2025 East-West Shrine Bowl, showcasing his resilience and determination.

Marshall's playing style is characterized by his press-man coverage skills, quick transitions, and ability to anticipate routes. He excels in man-to-man situations, rarely falling for double moves and effectively using his physicality to disrupt receivers. However, he has areas to improve, including maintaining focus to avoid losing track of assignments and enhancing his tackling technique. Despite these areas for growth, Marshall's combination of size, speed, and mental acuity make him a promising NFL prospect. He graduated with a degree in Education Sciences and was recognized on the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll in both 2022 and 2024, demonstrating his commitment to both athletics and academics.
