Jamon Dumas-Johnson Bio

Jamon Dumas-Johnson is a linebacker who gained national recognition during his time at the University of Georgia, contributing to the Bulldogs' back-to-back national championships in 2021 and 2022. Standing 6'1" and weighing 245 pounds, Dumas-Johnson transferred to the University of Kentucky for his senior season in 2024. In his lone season with the Wildcats, he led the team with 67 total tackles and added 7 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, one interception, and three fumble recoveries, including a touchdown. Despite Kentucky's disappointing 4–8 record, Dumas-Johnson's individual performance highlighted his playmaking ability and leadership on defense. ​

A native of Hyattsville, Maryland, Dumas-Johnson was a four-star recruit from St. Frances Academy in Baltimore. He began his collegiate career at Georgia, where he played in 38 games and started 24, accumulating 126 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, six pass breakups, one interception, and one forced fumble. His accolades include being named to the Butkus Award Watch List and earning preseason All-SEC honors.
