Jadon Canady is an American college football defensive back and 2026 NFL Draft prospect who finished his collegiate career playing for the University of Oregon Ducks after previous stops at Tulane University and University of Mississippi. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, he attended Sandalwood High School where he was a standout defensive back, leading his state with nine interceptions as a senior. Canady began his college career at Tulane, recording 75 tackles and two interceptions in 20 games, before entering the transfer portal. He then joined Ole Miss, where in 2024 he started 11 games and posted 38 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and a team-high 12 pass breakups in the competitive Southeastern Conference. After his time in the SEC, he transferred to Oregon for his final season of eligibility, contributing in the secondary and showcasing his versatility across defensive back positions.
Listed at 5-11 and 185 pounds, Canady is known for his instincts, playmaking ability in coverage and willingness to tackle in run support. In the 2025 season with Oregon, he totaled 39 tackles, two interceptions, six passes defended and one forced fumble, helping anchor a Ducks secondary that competed at a high level and earned a College Football Playoff berth.
