The Titans draft offensive help for Cam Ward by selecting Texas TE Gunnar Helm with pick 120
The Tennessee Titans are adding talent for their rookie QB by drafting Texas TE Gunnar Helm as one of three pass catchers selected by them so far in 2025. Helm, known for his impressive size and athleticism, is expected to make an immediate impact with his ability to block and stretch the field as a receiving threat.
Helm took a massive hit to his draft stock when he unfortunately twisted his ankle running the 40 at the combine, however he showed true grit by getting back on the track and running a SECOND REP on his twisted ankle. Helm has a key piece of the Texas offense last season, stepping into a target vacuum after last years draft and making the most of it. The 6’5”, 250 lb. TE is a versatile player with strong hands and a solid route-running ability, traits that should complement the Titans’ offense well. Helm will have to beat out incumbent Chig Okonkwo and two other 4th round rookies, but should he do so he could grow into Wards second favorite target.

Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Elic Ayomanor and ...
The Tennessee Titans continued to add to their offense by ...
Mason Taylor made an excellent impression at the 2025 NFL Combine.
LSU tight end Mason Taylor impressed at the NFL Combine. Mason is the son of Hall of Fame defensive end Jason Taylor. Taylor made his best impression during the gauntlet drill.
Mason Taylor made the gauntlet drill look easy. Normally a drill that piques the interest for wide receivers, Taylor glided effortlessly while changing direction in rapid succession without any drops.
As a junior, Taylor had 55 receptions for 546 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. Between his impressive performance at the Senior Bowl and the NFL Combine, Mason Taylor is creating cumulative credit towards boosting his draft stock. Expect his stock to rise while position peers Harold Fannin Jr. and Gunnar Helm drop due to poor 40-yard dash times.

Gunnar Helm declared for the NFL draft after his senior season and is attending the 2025 Senior Bowl.
Gunnar Helm broke onto the scene in 2024, leading Texas with 60 catches in his Senior year after amassing only 19 during his first three collegiate seasons. Helm is a Quarterback’s best friend with his solid athleticism, ability to find open space, and 6’5″ frame. On an explosive Texas Longhorns offense with tons of future NFL talent, Helm was 2nd in receiving yards and touchdowns.
While he’ll most likely fly a bit under the radar in a tight end class highlighted by the likes of Tyler Warren and Colston Loveland, it would be no surprise to see Helm called in the first few rounds of the NFL Draft and making an immediate impact in the NFL.
Helm will be a name to monitor at the Senior Bowl and leading up to the NFL Draft for tight end needy Dynasty managers and in leagues with tight end premium scoring.
