Denzel Boston is a wide receiver and 2026 NFL Draft prospect who played his entire collegiate career at the University of Washington. A native of South Hill, Washington, Boston attended Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup and was rated a three-star recruit in the 2022 class before committing to the Huskies and staying close to home. He appeared sparingly in his first two seasons while Rome Odunze, Jalen McMillan, and Ja'Lynn Polk occupied the starting roles, totaling just seven receptions across 18 games in 2022 and 2023. With all three of those receivers drafted into the NFL, Boston stepped into a starting role in 2024 and produced immediately, catching 63 passes for 834 yards and nine touchdowns. He followed that with another productive 2025 campaign, finishing with 62 receptions for 881 yards and 11 touchdowns, earning third-team All-Big Ten recognition, and declared for the 2026 NFL Draft in December 2025, finishing his career with 132 receptions for 1,781 yards and 20 touchdowns.
Measured at 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds, Boston is a physically imposing boundary receiver with a large catch radius, strong hands, and the body control to win contested jump balls and back-shoulder throws from both outside receiver spots. He is a smooth athlete for his size who tracks the deep ball well, adjusts to off-target throws in stride, and wins at the catch point with physicality and reliable concentration. His speed has drawn some scrutiny, as he does not possess breakaway burst and tends to win through route precision and size rather than outrunning defenders, and his yards-after-catch production in the short game is limited. NFL evaluators project Boston as a potential late first-round or early second-round selection who profiles as a WR1-caliber red zone weapon and contested-catch specialist with the size and skill to develop into a reliable starting outside receiver capable of contributing across all three levels in a pro offense.
