DeAndre Jules Bio

DeAndre Jules is a 6'3", 310-pound defensive tackle who declared for the 2025 NFL Draft following a standout collegiate career at the University of South Carolina. A Maryland native, Jules began his college journey at the University of Pittsburgh before transferring to South Carolina for his final season. Over his six-year collegiate career, he appeared in 46 games, including 37 at Pitt and 9 at South Carolina, recording 52 total tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks. In the 2024 season, he contributed 15 tackles, 1 quarterback hurry, 1 forced fumble, and blocked a kick. Notably, he had a season-best 5 tackles, all solo stops, in the season opener against Old Dominion. ​

Prior to his college career, Jules was a four-year varsity contributor at Northwest High School in Germantown, Maryland, where he collected 59 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles as a senior. He was selected to play in the Big 33 Football Classic following his senior season and was considered the top defensive end prospect in Maryland. Jules majored in law, criminal justice, and society at Pitt and was finishing up his bachelor’s degree in 2024.
