Darien Porter is a 6'4", 200-pound cornerback from Bettendorf, Iowa, who played college football at Iowa State University. Originally recruited as a wide receiver, Porter transitioned to defense in 2022, where he quickly made an impact. In his senior season (2024), he started in 7 of 12 games, recording 18 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions, and 2 pass breakups. Notably, he blocked a field goal against Kansas State, becoming the first Cyclone in the Big 12 era to have five career blocked kicks. Porter earned Honorable Mention All-Big 12 honors and was invited to the Senior Bowl, showcasing his skills to NFL scouts.
