Damonic Williams (born September 4, 2004) is an American college football defensive tackle and rising NFL draft prospect currently playing for the Oklahoma Sooners. A native of Torrance, California, Williams attended Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills where he was rated as a three-star recruit and attracted offers from multiple Power Five programs before signing with TCU Horned Frogs. At TCU, he made an immediate impact by enrolling early and starting all 15 games as a true freshman in 2022, recording 27 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks, earning Freshman All-American recognition. He followed that with another strong season in 2023, starting all 12 games and posting 33 tackles, five tackles for loss and three sacks, garnering honorable mention All-Big 12 honors before entering the NCAA transfer portal.
Williams transferred to Oklahoma ahead of the 2024 season and quickly became a key piece of the Sooners’ defensive front. At 6 ft 1 in and 323 lbs, he brings rare power and disruptive ability up the middle, regularly occupying multiple blockers and anchoring run defense while continuing to develop as a pass rusher. In his first season with Oklahoma, Williams started every game and accumulated 35 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, a sack and a forced fumble, establishing himself as a reliable interior force. As he heads into his senior year, Williams is regarded by scouts as a compelling NFL Draft prospect with the physical traits and on-field production to contribute at the next level, particularly as a space-eating defensive tackle capable of anchoring a professional defensive line.
