Charles Grant Bio

Charles Grant is an offensive tackle from William & Mary who emerged as one of the top prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft. A native of Portsmouth, Virginia, Grant was a standout wrestler in high school before transitioning to football at William & Mary. He redshirted his freshman year in 2020 and quickly became a fixture on the Tribe's offensive line, starting at left tackle for three consecutive seasons. Over his collegiate career, Grant started 44 games and allowed only two sacks, showcasing his exceptional pass protection skills. In 2023, he earned consensus FCS All-American honors and was named to the first-team All-CAA for the second consecutive year. Grant's performance helped William & Mary rank third nationally in rushing yards per game during his sophomore and junior seasons .

Standing 6'4" and weighing 300 pounds, Grant possesses a strong frame and impressive athleticism. He is known for his fluid movement, quickness, and ability to maintain balance in pass protection. Grant's wrestling background contributes to his leverage and hand placement, making him effective in both pass protection and run blocking. While his level of competition at the FCS level was often considered a challenge, his consistent dominance and accolades, including an invitation to the 2025 Reese's Senior Bowl, solidified his status as a top-tier prospect.
