Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik has joined the Shrine Bowl hoping to earn a spot on an NFL roster.
Clemson’s Cade Klubnik has a lot of hype to live up to, he has had some signature moments as a Tiger. His senior season at Clemson was not pretty compared to his superb junior season. In 2024 Klubnik completed 63.4% of his passes for 3,639 yards, 36 passing touchdowns and six interceptions. He has excellent athleticism also, he added 463 rushing yards, seven rushing touchdowns on 119 carries. He was graded pretty high in the 2025 NFL Draft, but he chose to return for one final season. His regression in production has led to a massive dip in his draft stock.
Cade Klubnik has the tools to be a great quarterback, but his processing skills will need to improve to be a consistent starter in the NFL. He has the arm talent and the legs to make any offensive coordinator drool, but he struggles with immediate pressure and reading post snap defensive coverage change. Klubnik’s skillset is similar to Bo Nix.
PFF has Klubnik as draft prospect number 128. This puts him as a fourth round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. If Klubnik can prove he can improve his processing skills, he has a chance to be a potential steal for a team.
