Ahmari Harvey is an American college football defensive lineman and 2026 NFL Draft prospect who starred at University of Miami after beginning his collegiate career at the University of Georgia. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Harvey was a three-star recruit out of Trinity Christian Academy and initially joined Georgia, where he played in 22 games over three seasons and recorded 60 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss and six sacks while developing his technique and strength at both end and tackle. Seeking a larger role in a different scheme, he entered the transfer portal and landed at Miami, becoming a key piece of the Hurricanes’ defensive front and showcasing his ability to rush the passer and disrupt opposing offenses consistently in 2024 and 2025.
Measured at 6-4 and around 305 pounds, Harvey combines rare size with surprising athleticism and power, traits that have helped him win multiple reps at the point of attack and on the edge. In his final season, he posted double-digit tackles for loss and added consistent pressure on quarterbacks, leading to All-ACC recognition and multiple national postseason awards consideration. NFL scouts value Harvey’s blend of strength, leverage and versatility along the defensive line, projecting him as a potential Day 2-3 draft pick with upside as both a run-stuffer and interior pass rusher at the next level.
