Michael Thomas was placed on IR with a knee injury and will miss at least four games. Thomas has played in ten games this season. Thomas missed 2021 due to an ankle injury and played in three games last season due to lower body injuries. Thomas is eligible to come off IR in week 15 at the Giants.

Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed will maintain their current roles. Rookie A.T. Perry will be the biggest beneficiary of the vacated targets. Perry is 6’3 195 Lbs, and was drafted in the 6th round of the 2023 draft. He ran a 4.47 40-yard dash(74th percentile). He has a 72nd percentile speed score(100.4) and a 74th percentile burst score(126). He has played in three games this year and has four targets, 2 catches for 38 yards and a touchdown. Perry had back-to-back 1000-yard seasons at Wake Forest with a combined 26 touchdowns. Additionally, the Saints added Marquez Callaway to the practice squad. Callaway spent the start of the season with former Saints head coach Sean Payton on the Broncos.
