C.J. Stroud returns to the Texans after suffering a concussion in Week 9 against the Denver Broncos.
In a pivotal AFC South matchup, the Houston Texans see the return of their starting quarterback. C.J Stroud has cleared the concussion protocol and will start against the Colts after missing the previous three games. While Stroud was unavailable, backup Davis Mills and the Texans’ defense produced, and the team is on a three-game win streak.
Stroud’s third season has had its share of ups and downs. He has recorded 161 completions on 242 attempts for 1702 yards, 11 touchdowns and five interceptions. It will be interesting to see if Stroud can hit the ground running and keep the Texans rolling. The team is on the outside looking in on the playoff picture. A win against the Colts would undoubtedly send a message to the rest of the NFL that they are for real.
