New York Jets quarterback Justin Fields has a right toe injury after being stepped on.
Jets fans need to look away. Starting quarterback Justin Fields has suffered a right toe injury. Head coach Aaron Glenn mentioned that Fields was most likely stepped on and that the severity of the injury remains to be seen.
This is one of the first scary injury updates of 2025 during training camp. The words ‘carted off’ inject a certain level of fear in fantasy managers. While there was lurking fear of an Achilles injury, it seems as though Justin Fields will be ok long term. In the short term, expect more clarity which will provide a timeline for any projected time missed for Fields.
The Jets don’t seem to have any luck, but it appears they dodged a massive bullet, for now. Fields is expected to help unlock running back Breece Hall and connect with his former Ohio State teammate Garrett Wilson (wide receiver). Expect Justin Fields to pay off massively due to his high rushing upside, but that assumes him staying on the field.
