The Miami Dolphins leaned on running back De’Von Achane in their 16-13 win against the Washington Commanders. Achane put up 120 yards on the ground and another 45 yards through the air.

Tua Tagovailoa threw for just 171 yards in this defensive struggle, Jaylen Waddle was the only Dolphins wide receiver to eclipse 50 yards. Rookie Ollie Gordon was also effective today, rushing for 45 yards and  touchdown.

Achane is one of the best running backs in the league but he was stuffed multiple times inside the five yard line today, opening the door for Gordon to vulture a touchdown and possibly become more involved as the goal line back going forward.
