Breece Hall’s fantasy outlook for 2025 has become more uncertain following recent comments from Jets’ offensive coordinator Glenn, who noted that the team will utilize three running backs in their offensive scheme. Hall, who was expected to be the focal point of the Jets’ backfield, faces increased competition with the emergence of Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis. While Hall showed promise in his recovery from an ACL injury and had a strong rookie season, his 2024 campaign was disappointing. He finished with a career-low 4.2 yards per carry, 876 rushing yards, and 5 touchdowns, which raised concerns about his efficiency. His receiving work also declined, and with the Jets’ offensive struggles, Hall’s opportunities were limited. To complicate matters, the addition of Justin Fields could further impact Hall’s role, especially in the passing game, as Fields’ skill set could lead to a greater focus on the quarterback’s mobility rather than utilizing Hall in the air.

Beyond the immediate 2025 concerns, Hall’s future with the Jets remains unclear, as the team has shown little interest in extending his contract beyond 2025. The addition of younger backs like Allen and Davis, combined with a new offensive approach, makes Hall’s role less certain moving forward. Additionally, the Jets’ offense has been less productive, averaging only 21 rushing attempts per game, which has limited Hall’s workload. With competition in the backfield and the offense still working to find consistency, Hall’s fantasy value for 2025 is at risk. Unless Hall significantly improves his performance and the Jets’ offense becomes more productive, his role could shrink even further, making his RB6 ADP seem increasingly difficult to justify.
