Omarion Hampton continued to cede playing time to his backfield teammates in Week 5. He played just 30% of the snaps against the Denver Broncos, while Keaton Mitchell played in 34% and Kimani Vidal played in 42% of Los Angeles’ offensive plays.

Hampton’s underwhelming efficiency metrics are likely responsible for his reduced workload. Mitchell has posted a far superior yards per touch and true yards per carry compared so far this season. In Week 5, Vidal began to usurp Hampton on third downs, creating a true 3-man backfield committee.
