Jeanty is officially listed as questionable for the week 5 matchup against the Patriots and is traveling with the team. He has been dealing with an ankle injury since training camp, but this is the first instance of a foot injury being included in his designation, and head coach Klint Kubiak did not say whether the issue is new. Notably, Jeanty was limited on Thursday before sitting out practice on Friday, officially putting him in danger of missing their week 5 matchup against the Patriots.

Jeanty’s rushing production has been underwhelming so far (78 carries, 264 yards, 3.4 YPC, 0 TDs), but his role in the passing game, where he is averaging nearly five catches and 41.3 receiving yards per game has helped buoy his fantasy value. If Jeanty sits, fourth-round rookie Mike Washington is next in line to handle the primary workload. Boasting a 126.9 Speed Score (100th percentile) and a 130.3 Burst Score (92nd percentile), washington was the most athletic back in the 2026 class. At 6’1″, 223, Washington certainly he has the size to be a featured back, however, his lack of experience in the passing game (1 reception, -1 yards in 2026) could have him cede some third-down snaps to his backfield mate Dylan Laube, who caught 171 passes in college.
