Two-time Pro Bowl RB Joe Mixon has signed with the Seahawks and reportedly will start on the practice squad. This comes two days after Mixon posted a hype video on X, proclaiming himself back. Mixon missed all of 2025 with a foot injury but was RB17 over 14 games in 2024.

This is an interesting landing spot for Mixon. Zach Charbonnet had his 21-day practice window open last week to return from IR, just as first rounder Jadarian Price was placed on IR. Emanuel Wilson is coming off of a game where he put up 120 total yards and 2 TDs in a workhorse role. Mixon is worth a speculative add in dynasty leagues but for redraft, fantasy football managers may not want to use much FAAB on him without a clear role rest of season. This could mean George Holani’s days are numbered as a rosterable asset.
