After missing all of 2025 to a mysterious foot injury, 2-time Pro Bowl RB Joe Mixon posted a video on X strongly hinting at an NFL comeback. In the video, there is a mix of highlights, commentary of his injury, and him working out. It ends with Mixon shouting “I’m back baby!”

Mixon might be worth a speculative add in dynasty leagues with deep benches. While he missed all of 2025, in 2024 he was RB17 despite missing 3 games, putting up over 1,300 total yards and 12 TDs. He did not formally file retirement paperwork and is currently a free agent after the Texans released him in the offseason. He is free to sign anywhere, if he can prove to be fully recovered from his mysterious foot injury.
