The Ravens announced on X that star WR Zay Flowers (hamstring) will miss Week 2’s game vs. the New Orleans Saints. This is not a surprise but is unfortunate, as Flowers started off dominant in Declan Doyle’s new offense, finishing as WR7 while putting up 150 yards and a touchdown on 5 catches halfway through the first quarter prior to injuring his hamstring.

With Ja’Kobi Lane recently placed on IR due to an injury of his own, Rashod Bateman will be the top WR standing for the Ravens. This will also create an opportunity for fellow WR’s Devontez Walker, Elijah Sarratt, and LaJohntay Wester to make a name for themselves. Mark Andrews should also benefit and get increased targets. Fantasy football managers will need to keep an eye on Flowers’ practice reports next week to see if he can return in Week 3.
