Cam Ward shedded 10 pounds this offseason partly to unlock more mobility under new offensive coordinator Brian Daboll. While he only averaged 9.4 rushing yards per game and posted a meager 4.1 yards per carry as a rookie, Daboll’s system historically features more quarterback run concepts.

Ward does not profile as a true dual-threat QB, but he does have the requisite athleticism to comfortably exceed his 39 carries from last season. He also showed significant improvement as a passer in the second half of last season. Ward is a value play in best ball and a strong buy in all fantasy football superflex dynasty formats.
