Coming off a Senior Bowl MVP award, LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier looks to build his draft stock at the combine.
2025 was an injury-hampered season for the former LSU Tigers quarterback, but Garrett Nussmeier capped the season with the Senior Bowl MVP award.
Nussmeier finished the season 194/288, for 1921 yards and 12 touchdowns, but solidified himself as one of LSU’s most prolific passers, finishing his collegiate career with 7699 yards. Nussmeier is pick 80 on PFF’s big board and projected to be the third quarterback selected in the 2026 NFL Draft.
A strong performance showcasing his high IQ and gunslinger abilities at the combine could push Nussmeier up teams’ draft boards in a particularly weak QB class.
