Arkansas Razorbacks running back Mike Washington Jr. has been putting together a strong week that’s catching the attention of NFL evaluators.  He’s shown quick decision-making in inside run periods, consistently pressing the hole with patience before exploding through creases.  Washington’s lateral agility and contact balance have allowed him to generate extra yards, even when lanes close up.

What’s really helped his stock is his work in passing situations.  Washington has looked natural catching the football out of the backfield and has held his own in pass-protection reps, showing awareness and toughness against blitzing linebackers.  With his performance in Mobile, Washington is making a strong case as a versatile, scheme-friendly back who can contribute early in an NFL rotation.
