The Pittsburgh Steelers new head coach would embrace the chance to have Aaron Rodgers as the team’s quarterback.
When Mike McCarthy was asked if he’d like to have Aaron Rodgers back as the Steelers quarterback, he replied, “Definitely, I don’t know why you wouldn’t.” McCarthy and Rodgers worked together in Green Bay for 13 seasons, during which the pair totalled 107 wins.
This answer comes as little surprise, as the Steelers’ owner doesn’t like the word “rebuild” and would always like to see the Steelers compete. While Aaron Rodgers is in the twilight of his career and only averaged 207.6 yards per game last season, are there many better options when looking at the quarterbacks in free agency or in the 2026 Draft? If Rodgers does return to the Steelers, can this duo rewind the clock to the good old days?
