2026 NFL Draft Big Board Update: Risers, Fallers, Analysis

by Matty Kiwoom · Featured

The latest update to my 2026 NFL Draft Big Board is officially live on PlayerProfiler. In this update, I have expanded from a Top 50 to a deeper and more defined Top 75. From a fantasy positional standpoint, the board currently includes two quarterbacks with early-round grades, one first-round running back, four wide receivers carrying first-round value, and one tight end who checks the modern NFL boxes. Defensively, this class continues to flex its muscle with real depth at linebacker and an elite safety prospect leading the way. The offensive line also stands out as a strength, even if there isn’t a clear-cut franchise left tackle at the top. Overall, this class is starting to show a clear identity built more on depth and reliability than star-driven offense.

2026 NFL Draft Big Board Update

The Cream of the Crop

Premium positions are beginning to rise to the top of the board as this class develops. David Bailey continues to look like a player who will not have to wait long to hear his name called. Rueben Bain Jr. is right there with Bailey at the top and has what teams will covet early in the draft. On the offensive side, Fernando Mendoza stands out even more given the overall uncertainty at quarterbacks in this class. When premium traits meet premium positional value, those players naturally separate themselves, and this update reflects that reality.

Offensive Line is a Strength

The offensive line group could end up being one of the quiet success stories of this draft cycle. Spencer Fano brings the positional flexibility and technical consistency that offensive line coaches love, especially for teams trying to stabilize multiple spots. Francis Mauigoa continues to flash dominant reps that suggest long-term starter upside with the right development curve. Kadyn Proctor offers rare size and raw power, making him one of the more intriguing developmental bets in the class. While there may not be a slam-dunk franchise left tackle, there’s no shortage of players who can become quality starters. Teams willing to invest in coaching and patience could come away very happy with this group.

NFL Draft Prospect Risers

One of the most noticeable elements of this update is just how aggressive the movement was among the biggest risers. Sonny Styles jumps up 11 spots as his versatility, physicality, and ability to play multiple roles continue to stand out on tape. Christen Miller makes one of the biggest leaps on the board, climbing 18 spots thanks to his interior disruption. Chris Johnson Jr. from San Diego State surges up 17 spots and could start getting more helium after a week in Mobile. These kinds of jumps aren’t about box scores alone, but about traits translating more clearly to the next level. As the margins tighten, players who consistently pop on film tend to rise quickly.

Final Thoughts

Stepping back, this update really reinforces what kind of class this is shaping up to be. The strength clearly lies on defense and in the trenches, where teams can find legitimate contributors well into Day 2 and even Day 3. Quarterback remains the biggest concern, with a limited pool of prospects who feel like long-term answers, which could push teams to get aggressive early or pivot entirely. There’s also a noticeable lack of true offensive playmakers, making projection and role fit more important than ever. That puts added pressure on evaluations rather than raw production. As the board continues to evolve, the teams and fantasy managers who understand where the real value lives will separate themselves from the pack.
