The Washington Commanders fell to the Denver Broncos 27-26 in overtime, as tight end Zach Ertz topped 100 receiving yards.
Zach Ertz recorded his first 100 yard receiving game of the season as he secured 10 receptions for 106 yards. Quarterback Marcus Mariota threw 50 times for 294 yards, two scores and one interception, he added 55 yards rushing.
Terry McLaurin made his presence felt in his first game in over a month, grabbing seven passes for 96 yards and a touchdown. On the ground Chris Rodriguez shouldered the load, taking 11 carries for 41 yards and a score.
Ertz remains a solid if unremarkable tight end option, showing what his ceiling can look like in this game, when McLaurin is healthy he’s a solid wide receiver two and Rodriguez appears to have put a stranglehold on the backfield work in Washington.
