Breece Hall Runs Wild in Victory Over Bengals

The New York Jets beat the Cincinnati Bengals 39-38 to get their first win of the season.

The New York Jets edges out Cincinnati Bengals 39-38, having a furious comeback in the fourth quarter to secure their first win of the season.  The Bengals jumped out to an early lead, scoring 10 points in the first quarter.  Followed by 14 in the second quarter, but Jets put up 13 points of their own in second quarter as well.  But, in the fourth quarter the Jets outscored the Bengals 23 to 7 to win by one point.

 

On offense the Jets piled up 254 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns, while Breece Hall accounted for 133 of them and the two touchdowns, he also threw for the game winning touchdown as well.  Isaiah Davis added 65 yards of his own on the ground and added 5 catches for 44 yards.  Justin Fields got the nod to start this week, he went for 244-yards passing and one touchdown, while adding 31 on the ground too.  As, for their receiving game without their star receiver Garrett Wilson, Fields spread the ball around, Tyler Johnson led the team with 3 catches for 64 yards and a score.  Overall, for the Jets Breece Hall had a monster game having 3 total touchdowns, and Isaiah Davis can be stashed on fantasy teams.

 

For the Bengals, they moved the ball through the air reasonably well.  Joe Flacco in his third start for the Bengals threw for 223 yards and 2 touchdowns, he also had a surprising touchdown on the ground too.  Flacco has targeted Ja’Marr Chase another 19 times this week.  Chase hauled in 12 of them for 91-yards.  Tee Higgins caught a 44-yard touchdown on his lone catch in the second quarter.  However, since the quarterback switch Chase Brown has benefited from it.  On Sunday, he ran for 73 yards and a score on the ground but also caught 3 passes for 32 yards and another score.  Samaje Perine did lead the team on the ground with 9 carries for 94 yards and a score too.
