Noah Fant
Noah Fant Signs With Bengals

Veteran tight-end Noah Fant is signing with the Cincinnati Bengals, per Tom Pelissero.

After being released by Seattle earlier in the week, the Bengals have quickly made the move to bring in Noah Fant. Fant played the last three seasons with the Seahawks, which resulted in PPR finishes as the TE 17, 32, and 27.

Fant is still young (27), and we have seen tight ends who are highly regarded out of college not make a significant impact until later in their careers (i.e., David Njoku). That being said, I’ve never been sold on Fant. He lacks explosiveness and doesn’t catch many touchdowns.

The Bengals may lack a top weapon at the position, but they currently have four other tight ends they use in the passing game. Mike Gesicki, Tanner Hudson, Drew Sample, and talented second-year player Erick All, Jr. all remain on the roster. All four had at least 19 receptions in 2024. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Fant becomes a camp casualty once teams start making cuts.
