A.J. Brown (Hamstring) Misses Practice Sunday
4 months ago

Philadelphia Eagles’ star receiver A.J. Brown misses Sunday’s practice with a hamstring injury he suffered during Friday’s session.

The severity of A.J. Brown’s hamstring injury remains unclear as of now. DeVonta Smith, who was dealing with a back injury, had just returned to practice. The Eagles will most likely take a cautious approach to Brown’s timeline going forward.

Brown has been a staple top 15-20 pick in fantasy football for years now. The 28-year-old posted consecutive top-6 finishes at the position in his first two years with the Eagles before a top-20 result last season in just 13 games.

Brown missed three games in 2024, also due to a hamstring injury, but had played a full 17-game season in the two years prior. While the situation is worth monitoring, there’s no reason to suspect he’ll miss week 1 in 2025. He’s my WR-9 heading into the season (17th player overall) — there’s no reason to start fading just yet.
