After an ankle injury derailed his 2023 senior season, Jordan Travis looks to rebound his career after being drafted 171st overall by the New York Jets. Originally a recruit to Louisville, Travis transferred to Florida State after a redshirt freshman season where he spent the next five seasons with the Seminoles. He was a career 62.5% passer who threw for 8,644 yards with 65 touchdowns and 19 interceptions. Travis also has some nice rushing ability after taking 409 carries for 1,910 yards and 31 touchdowns.

The Jets provide an interesting landing spot for Travis. He will get to sit and learn behind Aaron Rodgers while he makes a full recovery from injury. If all goes well, he may find himself as the future Jets starting quarterback but ultimately it’s likely he is a backup in the league.
