Brian Thomas Jr. was born in 2002 in Walker, Louisianna where he went on to play football at Walker High School. He was a multi-sport athlete who finished with 30 receptions for 507 yards and 7 touchdowns during his senior season. Thomas Jr. decided to play college in-state as well and committed to the LSU Tigers.
Thomas Jr. ultimately went on to spend three seasons at LSU where he was able to find a lot of success. He began his career as a freshman starting in nine games accumulating 28 receptions for 359 yards and two touchdowns. However, following mild success in 2022 Thomas Jr. was able to breakout in 2023. He led all of college football with 17 receiving touchdowns to go along with 1177 receiving yards. This led to him being named Second-Team All-SEC.
After a very successful season paired with Jayden Daniels, Thomas Jr. declared for 2024 NFL Draft. He then went on to be one of the most dynamic players at the 2024 NFL Combine as well. Thomas Jr. finished with a 4.33 40-yard dash and a 99th percentile speed score. Following this impressive performance, he should find his name called sooner rather than later this April.
