The 49ers’ have chosen wide receiver Robbie Chosen over Marquez Callaway.
Wide receiver Robbie Chosen has signed a one-year deal with the 49ers. Chosen is now on the wrong side of his playing career at the age of 32. The 49ers have signed Chosen, then released fellow wide receiver Marquez Callaway. Chosen appeared in two games last season for the Miami Dolphins where he had only one catch for 5 yards.
Chosen has had only a couple of fantasy relevant years when he was on the New York Jets. In 2017 he gave up a WR 18 finish, he also gave us a WR 19 finish in 2020, during his first year on Carolina Panthers. That season he had his only 1,000-yard season ever. Chosen has been far from fantasy relevance since that 2020 season. He joins a crowed wide receiver room in San Francisco, which he will have an uphill battle.

Wide Receiver Robbie Chosen is vying for another shot in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks on a tryout basis.
Free-agent WR Robbie Chosen, AKA Robby Anderson, AKA Robbie Anderson, AKA Chosen Anderson is trying to hang in the NFL by trying out with the Seattle Seahawks. Undrafted out of Temple by the Jets, where Anderson had some flashes with quarterback Sam Darnold. Since then he has bounced from team to team. He will have to put his best foot forward if he wants to continue, as he has not had a true role since he left Carolina after the 2020 season.
Anderson’s attitude has kept him from getting more chances with teams. He will likely be a free agent pickup in real life, thus he should be avoided in fantasy. My best memory of Anderson will be him confusing the Panthers Moscot Sir Purr for a bear!
